Bill Dolan
President

William “Bill” Dolan was born in Buffalo, New York, and was the youngest of five children. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in December 1972 where he attended basic training at Ft. Dix, New Jersey. Upon completion of his basic training, he was sent to Military Police School.

After school Bill was stationed at Ft. Meade, MD, Germany, Ft. Huachuca, AZ, Korea, Ft. Sam Huston, TX, Ft. Wainwright, AK, Ft. Carson, CO, and the Recruiting Command for Buffalo / Niagara Falls, NY. When he left active duty in November 1982 to help care for an ill father, he remained as a member of the active reserves for four years.

During Bill’s time on active duty, he was blessed with the opportunity to learn many aspects of law enforcement from basic patrol, K-9 dog handler, Traffic Accident Investigator (TAI), MP Investigations & MP Intelligence, capping off his long and decorated career as an Army Recruiter.
In 1984 Bill moved to Nevada to retire which did not last long as he returned to school and earned a degree in nursing. This career would span almost 25 years first as an Operating Room Staff Nurse and then as an Operating Room Cardio-Vascular Surgical Nurse, Operating Room Charge Nurse and then Director of Surgery until his second retirement.

Bill also served 5 1/2 years as an elected official on the Pahrump Town Board in Pahrump, NV where he now resides with his wife Marilyn. Bill enjoys working on their property “Dolan Ranch LLC” along with spending time with family and good friends; he is also an Ordained Minister.
Bill was asked to join the Board of Directors of SNEMSC in 2020 and was then elected President of the Board in 2021.
